Mal really should make a default forum for every anime about where did the story continues in the manga/ln after the anime. I'm getting tired of people keep asking the same question over and over again, it's been 2 or 3 times this week

don’t read the manga just wait for more seasons of the anime. in the meantime check out other interesting stuff.

man since i’m a bit more mature than the usual MAL userbase i literally can not comprehend why it’s so important to read the manga after the anime. i never had the urge to read the manga of an anime i finished in my entire life since i started watching anime.

so i can’t understand where this insane impatience for new content of a certain anime is coming from where these punks go to the first manga scan aggrevator site and read the source material there or even funnier are the brothers who start reading light novels just cause they need new content immediately and can’t sit straight until they get what they want. my guess is most of the MAL userbase is teenagers between 13 and 18 and at that age people aren’t really mature. and thus impatience.

there’s literally no point reading the manga of jujutsu kaisen because the anime stepped up the manga by a lot and it’s worth the wait. people have to learn to be a bit more mature. even storywise jujutsu kaisen isn’t really outstanding in all of the battle shonen out there that they literally HAVE TO read the manga IMMEDIATELY on the first manga scan aggrevator site they can find.

for some people it’s fun to read the forums and post there. as for me the only threads i don’t really like is episode discussion threads but anime series threads are fine to me because they usually don’t end up to be too crowded.

The heck are you talking about man. I'm saying that MAL should make a default forum for each anime about where did the story continues after the anime in the manga/ln. I'm not talking about should everyone read the manga or not. I really doubt the part where you mentioned that

@-Elevate- you did not just call people "punks" and claimed yourself "mature".

Also, while I agree anime elevated JJK manyfolds but that's not always the case. Could also be that some people prefer the manga medium, for one reason or another.

why would you look voluntarily at still drawn pictures instead of appreciating god like animation. my guy i will never understand people who prefer to read manga. most anime adaptations are way better than their source material so why read the manga and not wait for a new season.

i understand very clearly what people are talking about. it’s just the man who created the thread now knows what chapter he has to start reading. he will then go to the next best manga scan aggrevator site and will read it there. i’m just saying that’d be a bit of a shame when he could just do without it and watch season 2 of the anime on an official streaming service to support the franchise. i know i know streaming service don’t really support animators and bla bla bla but nothing we can do as a end customer about it that’s something that japan itself has to change.

@-Elevate- my guy I would never understand why people look down at manga as an art form. So ignorant. You can also wait out years and possibly get a shitty adaptation too.

Firstly, you can get through it faster — for those who have less time. Secondly, manga as a medium has its own art value so there are people who might as well pick it apart and study it and appreciate it. Thirdly, there are animes who does not live up to the standards of original manga. Example, Record Of Ragnarok, One Punch Man season 2, Berserk adaptations (you know the ones) and many more. Also, it is nearly impossible to reproduce manga such as Vagabond in the art style consistently hyper-realistic as the source material.

bla bla bla there is literally no good reason to read manga or even prefer manga over anime. yes there is shitty anime adaptations but those are mostly a minimum. almost all manga to anime adaptations turn out to be decent enough to be called better than the manga.

as for me the only reason i read manga to this day is just so i can be on the hype train once a series gets a huge popularity boost. the one looking most likely to be it is currently sakamoto days. yes sakamoto days has good art and the story is enjoyable to me but as a anime i am gonna love that shit no matter how bad the animation will be. i know you said “you can wait years to get a shitty adaptation” but that’s not always the case if jump/shueisha or any other publisher sees something has potential they’re gonna give it to a good studio with lots of budget. the only current jump manga that will most likely get a garbage adaptation is gonna be ayakashi triangle.

leave me alone; i prefer anime over manga and that’s it. i am never gonna change my opinion. one thing i have to say is there is no manga site to read all manga. the only thing you can do as someone who wants to stay away from piracy as much as they can is do without it. i care way too much about the artists so i’m just waiting for anime adaption of a manga i find interesting and watch it on crunchyroll or whatever streaming service it is at. that’s pretty much it. also i guarantee you jujutsu kaisen is going to keep its god like animation going forward to the next couple seasons. it’s just doing way too much money. and shueisha is gonna give mappa unlimited budget for sure.

i gotta say my dude we derailed this thread so much so please stop arguing with me.

here's the thing, "mature man".... first thing, not everybody reads manga after watching the anime of it..... so if a person reads manga , that does not mean he is immature or shit like that... and even if someone reads manga after watching it's anime version , that's not immature or anything... that's what he wants to do... You judged them on the basis of them wanting to read the manga after watching it's unfinished story in the anime.... and here you are saying you are the "mature man" as you don't feel the urge to read the manga after the anime..... soo cringe man lol.... I myself have completed only a few manga and watched 200+ animes... but still I would never say like reading the manga is meaningless or anything.... it is ironical how You are the " Matured Man " here lol
