No Game No Life (light novel)
| A volume after what felt like an eternity. My memory of the previous couple of volumes was definitely foggy. Looks like blank has their first defeat. Didn't see that coming tbh. And the pedo and incest... Man it's always hard to finish an NGNL volume. Was surely better than the last two volumes, but it was still decent at best. Anyway, it was nice to see the cast back. |

| The plot thickens. As the whole world slowly join forces against each other, the smallest missteps could be fatal. But fear not! We're talking about NGNL so the trashy moments will stay forever (strictly PG-13 to keep Foeniculum's channel safe)! Let's hope the next volume won't take 3 years to finish. |
| This was the worst volume so far. I can't help but feel like modern PC culture is starting to leak into the story at more than a trickle. |
| I've just finished this volume (the Brazilian Portuguese version) and I think this was the best arc since the Old Deus game, but not the best of the series so far (Volume 6 still hold that title for me). The Fairy's arc was nice. I wasn't expect a reality show or 'Black Shiro', but after so many years without any news (plus the delayed release of Brazilian version), I think my parameters get lowed. But I'm glad that we get so many new races appeared in this volume (on the last chapter at least) and is good to see the story finally coming to the final arc/saga. |
