And no problem, like I said mine was a bit of a hot take. I feel like the quality has for sure increased but I guess I just try to find the good in everything. If it's truly not good at all I just drop and don't score to be honest. And no worries about boomer view, I've been in the anime scene since we had to pay 40 dollars for 4 episodes on a dvd so I'm an older fan too.

Agreed about the progression, the way certain shows are animated now is crazy! I also prefer our isekai overlord compared to all of the battle harems we had 10 years ago lol.

Yup I'm in the same boat. I know this could be a hot take, but I feel like anime has gotten better over the last 10 years and I've been scoring so many more shows with a 10/10. I did rewatch both Bakemonogatari and Madoka a few years ago and still enjoyed them the same amount so was curious.

This season especially has so many shows to keep up with.
