I get what u saying. I'm black too and those stereotypes are useless. Drill music is alr but if u don't enjoy it there isn't a point to forcing urself if u get what I mean. I personally listen to lofi along with j pop on occasion. But the ed is amazing!!!

in Japan it's iconic because of its "fuwa fuwa" part in the chorus, tho I love the "kyun kyun kyun" part at the start. Plus the MV adds to the vibe, and take note that the singer herself is a professional bisque doll in real life. Try watching it. 😍

The singer who does the ending theme, Akari Akase, she's an avid cosplayer in real life. I saw her cosplay as both Marin and Shizuku-tan on her YouTube video. Bringing out the character to life.

Honestly I like the ED mostly for it's wholesome art combined with the sound. I think it really illustrates the mood of the series. Mostly, didn't skip it bc I liked the art style (though I have seen it enough to get the song stuck in my head)

As for stereotypes, I won't get into it to much but at the end of the day, you have to decide whether or not it's worth the effort in hiding it. It doesn't mean you have to be a trail-blazer if you don't want to though.
Personally, I don't really advertise that I like anime but I am not afraid to talk about it when it comes up in conversation as I believe that the value of a good conversation beats keeping up a curtain image.

To summarize, it's fine to choose whether or not to be yourself, just try to not let fear influence that choice.

Honestly, for me the ending is completely normal and it doesn't stand out with anything. But I agree with the opinion of other people that it fits the atmosphere of this show.

The ED simply has a good and wholesome vibe to it

also don't call it "ending" its a whole different thing. call it "ED" instead. its unwritten rules in anime discussions.
