On January 11, Japan celebrates " Salt Day (Shio no Hi) ". So called since the year 1500, when a Japanese warlord learned that his enemy was short of salt and generously sent him some, since salt was a valuable commodity at that time. For this reason, the Japanese portal Anime!Anime! conducted a poll among its readers asking them " Who is your favorite tsundere character?" ». The site writes: « In recent years, the term “salty” has been used to describe the coldness with which the characters are treated. I love Nino and she’s one of my faves, but Kurisu Makise and Rin Tohsaka are def better imo. Haven’t seen the Monogatari series yet, hut I heard that Hitagi Senjougahara is apparently an amazing one too. Nino still top tier tho fs and easily the best Quint
