well for one she’s one of the strongest up there with guy and rimuru isn’t going to fight Milim at full strength because she his friend so there that too honestly

I honestly couldn't tell if he was holding back or he really just wasn't any match for her. Their fight was a real let down for me.

I feel like in the beginning most people underestimated milim. Of course I knew she had power and a good chunk of it as well but maybe because it wasn’t shown too much throughout the seasons that I thought very little of it.

Just wait for another season or two. He will surpass her and the other True Dragons. Milim can fight Guy to a tie and that's not something to scoff at. Milim ear on the verge of destroying the world, she has that much power in her. Rimuru is still just starting his journey.

She is simply that strong, the strongets in the world are 4 true dragons and then comes guy and milim. Lets access her power a little from what we saw in anime

On their first encounter great sage conclude that milim had 10 times more magicule then current rimuru and rimuru said that "she is not even serious and already has 10 times more magicule" (the keyword is she wasnt even serious).
The end result : Rimuru avoided the confrontation completely and kinda tamed her with honey. The reason being that rimuru wouldn't even be able to dodge evwn if she just toying qith him

On walpurgis rimuru had eveolved to demon lord and his magicule increased 10 times (kind of equals to the non serious milim from before), also he had Raphael with 1 million times though acceleration. On top of that milim was acting to decieve clayman so she had to be somewhat serious.
The end result : Rimuru was able to dodge her (just few scratches on him but nothing more), but still he didnt decided to counter attack knowing that if he even think of that then he is doomed.

(A SMALL SPOILER FROM LN/WN BELOW)

He might be able to fight against her after he gets Ciel (which has 100 million + though acceleration, if i am correct).even after that i cant tell if he will be able win or not.

You have to remember that milim is one of the strongest and OLDEST demon lord. She is like 10,000 years old more or less and rimuru was just born 2-3 years ago that time. The gap in age, power and experience is too much. U didn't overestimated rimuru, u just underestimated milim, the dragon princess and the daughter of the creator of their world

The anime has only adapted 1/3 of the LN, it won’t be fun if he becomes most powerful so soon in the story right?

If Rimuru could match Milim and Guy better just drop the story and become full on Slime Diaries cause there would be no tension or story, just dick measuring contest but everyone is asian when compared to Rimuru's crew

rimuru's strongest ultimate skill is true dragon (veldora) summoning, so he didnt hold back at all, he also used raphael and beelzebuth on top but...

milim was just far too stronger than him

1. she wasnt even in her battle form/mode

2. she didnt use her god-tier class sword

3. she didnt even activate her ultimate skill

Rimiru literally swallowed one of the 4 true dragons and a heroic imprisonment curse in the 1st ep. He then evolved it into a skill which gets further evolved into ultimate skill Beelzebub.

That's his hax, against anything really, he just hax eats it. If he wanted to, he could eat all of them during walpurgis.

He just didn't want to.
