BAMBOO BLADE
| I barely made it through the first episode. It's so boring i could shit horses right now. I really believe it wasn't worth my time, but i regret even watching the first episode. It's so god damn awful and disgustingly bad and pathetic, i can't stop wondering why it has such a high rating and people praise it so much in their reviews, it dosn't make any sense. This anime is a crapped combination of these two categories: - random ecchi crap - retarded loli drama It's always shit like this that makes illegal downloads look ok since that way you can check the stuff before you buy it and not get ripped off with a pure piece of crap. | I think I'm gonna side with Peralisc a little bit about Bamboo Blade, but only a little. I have a friend who's obsessed with this show, and I'm sure that if by watching the later episodes, it would be a really good series. The problem is that it feels a bit hard to get past the first couple of episodes for me, which is weird considering I remeber watching the first few episodes of this show a year or 2 ago and didn't have as much of a hard time watching this show back then. I mean, Kendo is a martial art, but it's also technically a sport. Like other sports shows I've watched before, I would expect this one to take itself a bit more seriously. However when the main character is a quiet girl who's good at kendo, but doesn't care to play the sport and instead is addicted to her favorite TV show being a parody of Power Rangers, it's hard to symphasize with her or most of the other characters for that matter with the teacher being the exception. It's hard to understand what's appealing about many of them. Plus it feels like there's little passion in this show other than the gung-ho blonde girl. I'm not knocking off others that are into this show and I'm pretty sure I could get into this show myself if I saw some of the later episodes. It's just right now, it feels hard to just dive right in and feel I could immediately like Bamboo Blade. |

| its so good cuz it does something other animes don't. it has an entire cast that is likable, most of the time, and isn't over the top in drama. Like when we see Kirino's mom passed out and then next episode she's just fine. it kinda grew on me like school rumble except no romance at all except between Dan-kun and Miya Miya (LOL pangolin) |

| bamboo blade is one of the best anime ever but it is not for evry one , most anime fan love action like naruto so bamboo blade an anime foxes on life and comedy not they things ARIA 1/10 that man must go to hell . the only thing i didn't like in the anime was the last episodes thy look stupid but i read the manga now and i know that the last few epsodis was not part of the real story. |

| u simply watch 1 episode of every single anime, dismiss it as e most boring and most pathetic show on earth, lie to yourself and others by placing it on your completed list and giving it a rating 1, and trying to convince other ppl that it sucks. i agree with moonhead, you totally cant expect to be taken seriously when u do this. if u list it as completed and dont tell the whole world that you only watched 1 ep then maybe it might work. all animes need time to develop man. if you give up every anime after only 1 episode you're never going to enjoy anything that you watch seriously... | Fail troll is fail. (But well, since I responded it to, it's not actually fail) I just checked your anime list, and it made me lol. You must be a really stupid person if you still watch anime even tough you give a score of 1 to like 95% of it (which means you hate them from the bottom of your heart). Seriously, just stop watching anime if you don't like anime, you don't have to suffer just because you want to be the king of the trolls. And it's kinda unbelievable the you're 23 years old since there is no sane 23 years old person who would write tags like the ones you wrote. If you are really 23 yo, you should visit a psychiatrist asap. |

| Everyone needs to relax... in the world. I actually read this because, while I don't think its the worst show ever, I am struggling through this series too and don't get why it has such a high rating either. (Though I wasn't expecting a troll thread either, more like a rational conversation on the merits and pitfalls of this show... whoops!) I am much farther than 1 episode in (18, at the moment) but its cruising a pretty average, nothing extraordinary feel for me and I came to see what other people -did- like about it and if it gets better. Too bad its just people trolling each other and nothing helpful at all to anyone. That said, who cares if random people on the internet like what you like? I'm loving Aria, but can totally see why some people don't dig it. I'm sort of 'meh' about Bamboo Blade, but I can see why people like it, even if I don't. It would be boring if we all loved the same stuff. This, just like the rest of the responses, is simply my opinion and not to be taken to heart by anyone (such is the point.) Now I will administer hugs to all. |

If there's anything good about watching sports anime and the like, regardless of the art, story, plot, characters, setting, etc., it's that they get you really fired up about the sport or subject. I've had this experience with Chihayafuru, Saki, Kuroko no Basuke, and some others. |
| I dropped it the first time at episode 1 it was boring. Then I sucked it up because I heard good about it. Watched it all and it sucked, they barely went into a tournament, a lot of things were left unfinished.
