Why Tokyo Ghoul re and Tokyo Ghoul re 2nd season gets hate so much?

Am reading the manga and i am in Tokyo Ghoul re 2ns chapter but i just wanna know that why the last 2 season is hated so much. Ik it skipped the kaneki and arima fight, where kaneki lost his memories and the anime didn't even bother to explain but apart from that , why is it hated so much?. Is it the pacing of the story? Or it didn't show some arcs?.

Not showing arcs and not making any fucking sense is different, while watching the anime after 1 season never made sense and the plot was horrific at it's core. Season 2 of re never made ssense

well the story of re part 1 is basically identical to the manga with a few very minor changes. Haven’t read past re vol 6 yet to know how different the anime is from the manga (no spoilers pls). Really in my opinion everything would be fine if they had kept the Arima fight. It explains how re happened and without that fight it really becomes confusing.

umm maybe don’t look at the threads because of spoilers but if you liked what you saw you’ll definitely love the manga. Vol1-7 aren’t really different from season 1 but season 2 (vol 8-14) is actually different in the manga. They’ve kept some stuff from the manga though in the manga Kaneki doesn’t join the aogiri

They skipped a lot and the pacing was horrendous. The animation was also garbage and it just made the whole anime unwatchable. Im pretty sure thats enough reason for all the hate, a director thinking he can do a better job than the mangaka always ends badly.

Just continue to read and you will see...they put 183 chapters in just 24 eps...they skipped a lot of things...imagine for example platinum end which also has 24 eps and the manga has just 58 chapters

They skipped so much and butchered everything pretty badly to the the point you won’t understand anything unless you read the manga. That’s why people hate it and with very justified reasons.

yes the manga is 1000x better than the anime. The anime is only good till season 2 after that it gets haywire and you'll be confused. S3 was fast paced manga and didn't even bother about the s2 alternate ending.
And tbh as a fan of TG am saying s4 was trash. So read the manga

So basically re get so much hate because Tokyo ghoul √a Ended with hide’s death (which re ignored) and cut kaneki’s fight with arima and yet it was briefly shown in re second season with a at most 5 second clip of arima putting his quinque through kaneki’s skull. So in conclusion re get so much hate because it ignores the changes the anime made from the √a part of the manga.

I'm not even a Manga reader and I can tell easily that that s2 and re where absolute train wrecks as adaptations. Frankly, it was hard for me to keep up with Kaneki's changes.

It was just hella confusing. They put an insane amount of chapters into 24 episodes so you’d find your self not having a clue what was going on half the time. Also, i just didn’t like the plot as much as the first season so i couldn’t finish it or i’d just feel like it would ruin what was already really good

I think season one should of focused on the Ghouls, and season two should focus on the dove side, Re just felt like a miss opportunity to do some cool things with the doves.
