| For me, Arc 1<2<3=5<4<6 So much happens in Arc 3, I think the anime would have been extraordinary if it actually gave it a perfect adaptation. Arc 5 is equally as great, as it has awesome fights, Theresia backstory and the speech. Arc 4 is what made Re:Zero find it's footing as a psychologically charged dark fantasy with mysterious lore and groundbreaking character development. It made me love the series more than ever and motivated me to plow through the WN after S2 part 1. However, Arc 6 really gave me shivers with some of the most series-defining moments. No one warned me that a freaking scorpion can have so much effect. Satella's miasma brainwash, Julius being best boii (seriously there are as many best boiis here as best girls - name other isekai which does that!), Ram roasting Ley ("Die squealing like a pig"), Reid making using chopsticks more awesome than ever, and of course, the Natsuki Subaru confronts Natsuki Subaru part. Seriously, the only drawbacks of this arc are it's deep association with amnesia and the fact that I didn't get as many lore reveals from the Tower as I wanted. Haven't started arc 7 yet (I don't want to catch up and suffer, better read Ex novels), but I am hyped on reading Tappei's favorite. |

| Arc 7 = 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 But 7 could drop considering it hasn't ended yet, i'm just liking it cause it didn't have a slow start, had a lot o interesting plot points, i love how the villains are just "normal" guys and not reinhard level shit and the brutality of the current arc, new Rem is also much more interesting to me. Only thing i'm not liking is Subaru's morality regarding killing humans, i can't see how killing an evil or dangerous person and killing an archbishop would be that different, though i think this arc might actually be to change that mentality of him, he'll probably be confronted by someone because of this logic and either will change to not wanting to kill anyone or killing when necessary. |

| Arc 6 > 5=4> 3 >2 > 1, imo. Arcs 1-4 - LN version Arcs 5-6 - WN version The recent chapters of Arc 7(uptil chp 54) dwarf Arc 6 in terms of brutality. So depending on how it ends, it may have either the 1st or the 2nd position. |

| Arc 6 = 4 > 3 > 5 > 2 > 1 I wasn't that much of a fan of Arc 5. It had cool moments but had weaker character development. I'm really not an action guy so all the fights left me generally unmoved. Arcs 4 and 6 (WN) however had me hooked and made me care about fictional characters in ways I would never have expected. |
| Arc 6 >> Arc 4 >= Arc 7 > Arc 5 >> Arc 3 > Arc 2 > Arc 1 while i enjoyed the early arcs of rezero, in comparsion to the later arcs i feel tappei has improved significantly throughout the years. it feels like now he knows where to take the story. with that said, arc 6 is by far my favorite arc in the series and honestly one of my favorites in fiction. it was able to pull off something truly incredible that wouldn't otherwise be possible in any other story besides rezero. arcs 4, 5, and 7 are all really damn good too, but arc 6 is truly something special. |
