LotGH Overture to a new war (1993) Movie 1 Note :- This is a special edition which covers starting 2 episodes of series but it is recommended to watch this movie instead of starting 2 episodes cuz movie is more detailed 3. LotGH (1988-1997) OVA 110 EPISODES 4. LotGH Gaiden I (1998) OVA 24 Episodes This is a prequel which takes place before the first movie but is meant to watch after the series. Not strictly necessary but fans of Main OVA wouldn't be disappointed. This OVA tells the achievement of Reinhard before the battle of Astarte 5. LotGH Gaiden II (1999) OVA 28 Episodes This also a prequel which takes place before the first movie but is meant to watch after the series. Not strictly necessary. This OVA tells the achievements of yang before the battle of Astarte NOTE :- LotGH = Legend of the Galactic Heroes,it is also known as Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu -Make sure when you are downloading you know what you are downloading cuz of names it can be confusing. -Gaiden I (1998) aka A Hundred Billion Stars/A Hundred Billion Lights. -Gaiden II (1999) aka Spiral Labyrinth. -There is also another movie named LotGH Golden Wings/Ougon no Tsubasa. I'll recommend to not watch it.
