No, after a certain point in tte manga you’ll start to learn about the backstory of some characters and that’s the darker that it gets.
Kaguya-sama does have the psychological tag but do not forget that it’s a romcom and ngl I laughed a lot while reading the manga.

it has dark vibes in a lot of episode, the manga's demography is seinen, so it has some adult tones, specially with ishigami

It has dark moments like ishigami backstory in anime I don't think it get way too dark

Actually it gets more serious and a little darker but it'll stay funny and the story gets more interesting.

It doesn't get super dark or depressing since it's still a rom-com, but it can get more serious sometimes.

The Manga gets even better in my opinion it changes its tone a little but if you like the show now you will still continue to like it

I don't think it's dark now, i mean it's essence of any seinen anime. But i am pretty sure that this season 3's rating will shot like aot season 4 and fruit basket finale.
And one thing that i am hyping for is love confession episode (which is best Love confession i have ever seen in a romantic story)

We get into deep plot stuff eventually for a bit. I wouldn’t call that dark though, just really serious. But once that arc is done it gets back to being happy.
