| In general, it's overhyped. Reminds me of Violet Evergarden, Good Animation with average at best Story and Characters. Unlike Violet Evergarden though, it's characters and story are interesting enough to keep you going. Overall I'm enjoying it but definitely not as good as everyone makes it out to be. |

Violet has that Message to daughter episode. This anime has not. Violet was mostly about how her journey to find herself again not a journey about saving mankind from AI. Violet Story was much simpler in a good way. Vivy does not. Vivy finds herself troubled between this changing the human history and how she would deliver her mission as a Diva. Violet doesn't have a mission as the order she was given was to find happiness and we are emphasized how she lives her life without her Commander without the overdone action nonsense that adds little to close value in Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song. Between character itself despite having the same kind of personality one must Argue that Violet truly develops herself throughout the story. However, I can't really say the same for Vivy. By the end of the story, there are already way too many plotholes and inconsistencies in the story which makes it harder for us to feel what Vivy Feels. She just "Sing" and "Fight for humanity" because the plot tries so hard to tell her instead of unveiling it slowly. Can't really say I enjoy it. Faulty logic kind of hinder me from enjoying it because I took Sci-Fi stuff more than average especially on A.I topic. Last but not least Violet is a waifu too pure for this world, while Vivy is like a death by Snu snu kind of waifu. |

Violet has a different appraoch, its hows the journey of a character through a simple medium and doesnt contradict itself nor does it makes itself too complicated, nor does it become overly convulted(And as a result a linear simple yet beautiful story without plot holes is achieved maybe there are some but they too are quiet rare). It is a study of different relationships and quite beautiful to say the least. Its simple yes and thats is what makes it beautiful...The character of violet itself is much better then vivy..I mean ai s are suppose to be emotionless but somehow she discovers emotions through plot holes? Violet genuinly changes herself into a much better individual..Please dont compare vivy with violet.. |
