Imo ussop is easily the most annoying character in OP the way he acted with merry go was cringeworthy, the dude was being illogical about the ship. I get that he's attached to the ship but he'd rather leave 5 living people over a dead object? He constantly cries about his weakness but does nothing about it, he's like sakura of One piece

Usopp is the uncontested title holder and always will be in my opinion. After the Merry and Luffy shit that was the last straw. Now I’ll admit he’s gotten waaay less annoying in recent years. But nothing will fix the years of crybaby pitty me sniper king bs!!

Usopp was a bit annoying at first for me, but the growth he's experienced over the years after the Water 7 Arc, really showed a courageous side to himself.

It's really hard to choose someone, I love them all, but Brook's constant panties questions and his Yo-ho-ho's are getting a bit on the annoying side.

IMO, Franky does contribute more, but God that mother fuckers annoying, his voice, his personality, his body, his hair, his dumb ass "suuupppeeeerr" thing he does. Ussop isn't all that bad tbh. Think of how many minor contributions he's made to the crew in general. I agree that his most notable skill being sniping, is pretty fucking pointless so far, and you rarely see it make any impact, but I dunno, I personally think the crew would lose a lot of humor. Think how bummed out everyone would be without Ussop. Chopper, would lose his best friend, Franky would have nobody to help him on the ship, luffy would also lose his, arguably, best friend. Nami wouldn't get any new gadgets. His contributions are minor, but he's innovative, if not anything else. He's a jack of all trades, good at many things, but only great at one.

The only reason why Usopp is in the Straw Hats is because Luffy knows Yasopp. Basically nepotism.

“Bravest warrior of the sea” is the most useless line, he’s been the same after 25 years and 1050 episodes while everyone else is getting OP by the day and are close to fulfilling their actual goals.
