How long will it take for the dub to catch up to the sub?

FUNimation releases 13 episodes every 2 months and between that 8 subbed episodes are released in that timespan. Also the dub is currently at episode 719 and the sub is at episode 981. So how long

By the time the dub catches up to the point the sub's at, the sub will be 200 episodes ahead, just watch the sub man

Till 27 march there were about 680 dub eps, from that time till now 39 dub eps came out so about 13 eps release in a month but still it will take 1 year for them to complete whole cake island or so

I have been watching the dub for a long time and they won't catch up. Maybe if they keep pumping out episodes but I doubt that. The One Piece dub takes a lot of year long breaks

To catch up to the current episode I’d guess a couple years or less. it’ll probably take around 3 years to become weekly. It will never release on the same week as the sub though.

Eh, I'd say about......never. By the time that happens, one piece will be long over. You honestly better off switching to the sub, it's better anyways, imo however, I do miss Christopher Sabat as Zoro.

I agree with most people I’d just watch the sub. In my opinion that’s how One Piece was meant to be watched. The dub just doesn’t give the raw emotion like the sub does. That wasn’t your question in turn the dub’s going to take awhile to catch up. It’s always going to be like 200ish ep behind the sub. You’re better off watching it sub imo.

It’s gonna take a while, IMO just watch the sub, it can be different at first but I feel like you get the experience you were intended to get
