I'm not sure but there is a possibility that it might continue, Gosho Aoyama is already working on Conan so if DC finishes there's a chance of Kaito Kid's continuation.

I think he will come back with another volume in a few years. I think he is working on DC, I’m pretty sure he knows how it’s going to end so if I had to say… maybe in 3-5 years he will pick it up again.
