This show has everything I like in an anime but I'm just not really liking it and I don't know why. What problems do you have with the series?

Maybe then I might find the reason I'm not so keen too.

Maybe the pacing I guess...Kekkai Sensen is my favorite anime. I love fast paced episodic series that are 99% crazy randomness. The first season is mostly anime original btw, in the manga there’s no actual plot, the series is intended to be fully episodic from start to finish. On the other hand season 2 is only episodic, I’d finish s1 and jump to s2, you never know, maybe the anime original plot is what’s throwing you off.

I'd thought that I'd like it to. But for me it's to random and episodic for me. I would like there to be a sturdier plot. It has all the elements to be great it just doesn't use them.

Honestly I like s2 more than s1 coz I just feel like it lacks smthn and it made it kinda boring for me

It's the anime original story for me. The original source is pure episodic comedy, and while I don't mind the anime using original story, it just doesn't click well with the universe the author has built.

Same here. It’s by Yasuhiro Nightow, what’s not to like? Aside from the art style, the animation and the music, well, everything.

Pandora Hearts is the best manga ever made and deserves an anime reboot

Um…because it’s mediocre AF? Seriously. Weak characters, bad writing, a stupid storyline, and a whiny MC shot this anime into the ground. Watch Bungou Stray Dogs and you’ll see just how much better that is. It’s very similar to Kekkai Sensen, and it surpasses it by a long shot.
