Why is the title Doll's Frontline

The title should be Girls' Frontline to be more accurate to the game shouldn't it?

If I recall, GFL was renamed in Japan to Dolls Frontline because the name was already taken by another company or person. I'm assuming the same rule will apply for the anime, especially it being made in JP of course.

The way I remember, the original Chinese developers of Girls Frontline planned to release it in Japan with another phone game company, can't remember which. The deal fell through, but the company kept the rights to the name, so it got released as Dolls only in Japan.

If you want a depressing storyline. Go play the game as a inactive GFL player the lore is pretty good yet gives you PTSD

And the anime is base on the manga with a same title so it's up to you if you want to play the game or just watch the anime

According to the source cited on Wikipedia, the original trademark holders agreed to transfer the title. They decided, however, to transfer to someone else who paid them for it and snapped it up in time. I do not know who the "third-party" is, but I can only assume it can be tied to the usual suspects subverting any "problematic" storytelling across the globe. You know the ones. They change dubs to push western ideology, change subtitles to be less "problematic", and have even infiltrated Japanese companies like Nintendo, Capcom, and various anime and manga companies, under the guise of a global "ESG" score. Basically they threaten to hurt your brand unless you accept their donation and change your content to push western messages and have less Japanese humor or ecchi content.
