SHOULD I READ GRAND BLUE DREAMING?

I have watched the anime and dropped it. I just couldn't get into it but I've seen how high grand blue dreaming manga's ranking is in MAL TOP manga rankings. so I'm thinking of reading it. should I read it despite not liking the anime?

If u can't get used to the style of the show, don't.

You will only be grossed out by everything that takes place in the manga, thus u shouldn't waste your time on something u truly dont enjoy.

However pls give the first few chapters a shot, if u dont enjoy that then just drop it.

If you didn't like the anime you might not like the manga either but if you're interested , you should definitely give it a shot.

Why would you read the manga when you dropped the anime? That doesn't make sense at all. But it's your choice tough, you can give it a try, maybe read a few chapters and decide if you like it or not.

- If you are into bold, pretty & kind ONEESANs, then Yes.
- If you believe in power of Nakama & friendship, then this is definitely for you.

Look OP, I didn't like the Grand Blue anime very much. There were many elements in it I hated, justifying neophilia by pushing one's annoying habits (alcoholism) to other, making a clown out of the mc, generalizing male college students as stupid and horny, repetitive and boring nudity, unnecessarily playing with siscon lesbian trope, mostly drab and annoying cast of characters, etc.

But yeah, I did consider the possibility that maybe I should have a different mindset to enjoy a thing that claims to be funny. So I read the manga now, and it feels more relaxing as you go with your own pace, not raided by overdramatic voice acting. Still haven't crossed the adaptation barrier, but I think I'll hit a point where I'll ultimately start enjoying it.I

Edit: Sorry, I failed. I really dropped the manga before I could even catch up to the anime. Some things might not be really made for everyone...
