| So I had to look up what this was after I noticed the copyright was 1994. Apparently these stuffed frogs are popular Japanese plush toys? So pretty standard advertising - if you're sad, the cute plush toys will make you happy. The art is very charming, though. Being allowed to step outside the boundaries of the standard "anime" look is one of the reasons I really enjoy shorts. |
