That is false. Subaru has done nothing with Rem that crosses the line and neither did he show any romantic feelings for her. The polygamy stuff was brought up by her and his strong feelings for Rem stems from his guilt of not being able to save her. He just cares about Rem.
And Emilia is not into polygamy. If he does it then it will be nothing less than NTR considering how far Emilia and Subaru have gotten in their relationship

For the Carmilla one, it is because after episode 13 in the anime, Subaru's traumatic experience has still not gone. He still thinks if he shows his weak side to Emilia then she will abandon him. You seem to skip Subaru's internal monologues it seems. Subaru himself states he wants to show his cool sides to Emilia and not the pathetic ones.
The only time he actually shows his weak side to Emilia As for Pristiella, Subaru exactly knew what he needed to do. But he gave the task of saving Rem to Julius and chose to help Emilia first.

Btw not going for polygamy does not mean Emilia is a yandere.
You seem to understand nothing about Emilia yet you say she is passive.
And you also seem to forget that in arc 3 when Rem keeps on pushing her polygamy propaganda, all Subaru says is that "I will ask Emilia about it".
