Roswaal is truly insane,gotta love that Otto helped subaru at the endm he truly is his friend.and the withces are really something else,cant wait to see what path will subaru choose and if Roswaal will be happy with his growth

Definitely better than the first season. The witches in particular carried it, but Subaru himself was a much more understandable character in this half as well. Focusing on dialogue over bombastic fight scenes went down well too. Of course, the overabundance of completely unreasonable characters and erratic plot progression still irked me somewhat, but not to the same degree.

Damn Roswaal's mega smart. Subaru's resolution to not use his power is kinda annoying though. I'm sure he'll grow out of it eventually. He should've taken Echidna's contract honestly, although it probably could've put him in a lot of danger. I really hope Roswaal's motivation isn't to fuck the envy witch or something because that'd be pretty boring, so like, I hope it's something else

Well this season 2 part 1 was nowhere as good as season 1 but it's still very good cause the plot still confuses me or it just feels slower but hey maybe that's just me. Hope the 2nd part will be somewhat better compared to this one.
