Question about K (Character Development??)

Hello,

I am writing this discussion since I can't seem to find any articles or posts about this matter but..

So I just finished S1, Missing Kings and S2 of the show, however I am still questioning why aren't there any backstories about the characters?? Why did members in the red/other clan join and what are their reasonings and all. Has character development jumped out of the window for this show or am I missing something?

Because the whole story is an anime original which tend to suck in regards to character development or plot or anything other of importance.

Yeah that make sense it was really a good watch but if they went more into the backstories of each members of the clan and whats their reasonings of joining and build the world somewhat it would've been good
