| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- He reveals to his teacher that he only just confirmed it, even though he never expected him to be Tokine's father. Kouji believes that they're both involved in her Loss Time to save Tokine, while Takamachi reveals that he was involved in the Loss Time only after he refused to be her donor. Kouji believes that Tokine albeit subconsciously or consciously wanted a friend to convince her father knowing he was in Suou Academy. Kouji then asks his teacher to have a talk with his daughter, to which he refuses because he cares to stay alive and avoid risk of dying for his new family with his 3 year old daughter. Aware of the risk, he begs Takamachi to at least see her and tell her in person. After his teacher angrily yells at him for that the truth of him abandoning her won't change, Kouji continues to plead to just see her, to then challenge his teacher's denial and exposing him with his belief that Loss Time was created for her and him, as a chance from God to at least spend time together in a space alone, and believing that he is like his daughter in how she desperately wanted to save those kids from that truck. Later that day, on the last day of the third semester, Takamachi was absent with rumors that he fell ill with an operation, while Loss Time was slowly decreasing in time. Finally, some time later, sitting in a bench alone, thinking to himself, Tokine appears and greets him. She announces to him that she'll be transferred to another hospital for the operation and how her father and her casually talked and ate food together in the Loss Time for several days. Reaching out her hand to shake it while thanking him and apologizing, with the possibility of her dying, she wishes for him to promise that she'll forgot about her, to which he strongly refuses but suddenly hugging him she pleads him. Refusing while being optimistic, telling her that everything will be alright, Till suddenly she vanishes. For her sake to deal with her forthcoming battle on her own, he decides to not visit her before she transfers but with conviction and love is ready to save her no matter what, even if he has to turn back time. ... Wow. Fuck, I really hope she survives. I feel like if she doesn't he could save her, I hope. Let's see... |
