Though they were despised and beaten for their good deeds, Kaoru chose to stick to his principles over his prospects. Iwai then, chose to do the same albeit more casually. And through that, both found their life's calling. The detective and the policeman. Then Kanoko shows up and Iwai has found another person who is selfless and honest to a fault, and therefore trustworthy. |
