| As controversial as this will sound, I have my reasoning. Evangelion. I went into Evangelion with high expectations. At the start, I had the feeling this would be a great anime. The further I got, the more my opinion began to drop. Evangelion was depressing -- too depressing at that. Plus, I just didn't like Shinji as a character, and Asuka was just a bully. I've watched anime with tsunderes(maybe I'm using the wrong term, correct me if I'm wrong); in fact I'm watching Toradora as I'm writing this; but compared to Taiga, it seemed to me like Asuka had no interest in Shinji and just wanted to beat him up just for the sake of beating him up. It wasn't enjoyable seeing that. I eventually dropped it around episode 16. I will say this however. I'll try watching Evangelion again in a year, and see if my opinion on it changes. |
| If this were about manga, I'd have some regrets probably (looking at u, Clamp), but as far as anime goes, there were more than a few disappointments, but nothing I really regret spending time on that much tbh. |
