The Haikyuu!! dub is about the worst I've ever heard

I personally prefer sub over dub when it comes to anime but I don't really mind if someone prefers dub.

BUT

Haikyuu!! has the worst dub I have EVER heard in my entire life! How can anyone stand it?! I would have dropped the series at episode one if I had been forced to listen to the dub!

Fellow Haikyuu!! stans who have experienced both, can I get a loud amen?

Looks like someone here still isn't aware of the abomination that is Devilman's dub. It sounds like 7yo kids learned how to curse yesterday. I'm not even kidding, you seriously need to watch this Dazai-san:

I've only watched like half the first season dubbed, but I don't understand why people think it's horrible. It seems good and the dialogue is funny.

I've seen some of the dub and couldn't bear it. The voice acting isn't terrible but the casting choices felt wrong for quite a few characters.

I'm currently watching the dub and it's not that bad. I can tell why people would dislike it though. I question a lot of the casting choices, but overall it's tolerable.

I hear no problem with it, I think it's hilarious that people believe that they are superior for putting down English voice actors. Like the other guy said, listen to older dubs, its come a long way... you tell me you listen to DragonBall subbed and I know you're a liar. Goku has one of the worst voices in anime. It doesn't make you better if you listen to sub or dub. Just prefer what you like and go on with your life. I find you miss a lot of visuals in sub and most of the time there are not words that correlate fully from Japanese to English. Youre not picking up on Japanese, so stop being a weeaboo. Just enjoy what you like... PS: this is one of the best series for character growth, anticipation, cant get enough of this show. 9.8/10

Yeah, it's pretty bad. My sister doesn't watch much anime, but when she does, it's always the dub if it's available. Caught her watching it, and I had to walk out the room, walked in later, and she'd decided to binge it subbed instead lmao

I personally liked the dub. Since the dub isn’t out for the newest season I’ve been watching it subbed and I haven’t minded that either. I guess it all comes down to preference.
