| THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- Well done. I change my mind, this is actually the best volume by far. There are three main events here that are actually connected to each other which is also a continuation from the last war that started with the aftermath. I like how Rachel is finally at least showing a bit of her worth is, knowing that Silk is currently ahead of her, it won't be fun at all if she just gave up and let her father the king lay the groundworks for her though I doubt her chances are progressing at all considering Baldr's bloodline have a different royal blood. It's also nice that the author made a few foreshadowing and more scheming during that party. Next would be the case to Selina's origin, well it's a good and funny way to introduced this all new characters so.... Honestly I think it was too much of a farce. And the actual duel against Ernst wasn't really exciting but the next two battles here is the real deal so I can't complained for that bonus sideshow. Lastly, I have always been wondering why the author named one of the main cast Maggot because it really sounds a bit disturbing but now I see that it was because of her self repentance. But it's really hard to notice that side of her as it's very subliminal before her past was told. Now I could see why she is sweet to Silk. Overall, it's a really good showing of character development especially to Baldr who had made a new resolved. Now I'm looking forward to how he'll move his way to govern with his new title. |

| I don't quite understand what Maggot was holding back, so it didn't convey the effects of her suffering that well to me. But it definitely ended on a high note and that whole thing did get through as the conclusion of "Baldr's juvenile spirit." P.S. Based on Maggot's naming sense, maybe she hopes Baldr would go bald in the future? |
