| I have been wondering of this too. I thought Yhwach or Ichigo would do something to a secret weapon called Bleach or something. Perhaps Quincies are the world's Bleach? I mean they are dressed in white and totally destroy dirty stains aka hollows. Well anyway Bleach is still much better title than "I met a Soul Reaper Woman and now I become a Soul Reaper itself to help people in need". |

| I've read that Kubo wanted to name it Black at first cause that was the colour of the Shinigami robes, but he found it too generic and Bleach came up since the theme is cleansing souls. |

| Hm interesting, I had no idea that Kubo was into Western music! Also, I never really thought about the meaning of the title of Bleach, but it makes sense now. |
