| Sadly, it's been denied many times in the past (browse the denials thread). Read through this discussion as to why. What information I have found on it: Animation on 'A Day Before Us' was done at least in part by Red Dog Culture House (Official Website), a professional Korean studio that has worked on multiple animated trailers for Korean games and even some Western productions, such as Love Death + Robots. The work is listed in the portfolio on their website and 2018 animation reel. The series also won the New Media Contents Grand Prize at the Korean award show BCWW 2018 (article about award). However, this does not appear to be an animation award, so I don't think this will allow it to join. What really sucks is that they don't make it easy to find the staff who worked on the show so we can research what they've done. I'm of the mindset that LICO Crop is well-enough a professional studio, seeing that they have a physical building, plenty of staff, and that their YouTube series are clearly high quality and very successful, but the nature of the doujin rules can make it hard for certain works quality to qualify. If more information discovered out or what I've shared above is enough for it to be added, it would be well appreciated to share it with the community or for a moderator to confirm it can be added. |

These are pending submissions in the queue (you can tell because it does not let you add them to your list). The series has been submitted and denied many times in the past as 'doujin' if you review this thread. I do think it should be allowed in and wrote up another inquiry with some findings here to hopefully get the attention of a moderator. Still awaiting a follow up. |
