Unfortunately there's no way of formally dropping a rewatch on MAL, or doing partial rewatches for ongoing stuff. You either rewatch the whole thing or you don't list your rewatch at all. Alternatively if the thing you rewatched is completed but your second time you didn't complete it, there's an option to list it with less than its total amount of episodes so that the rewatch makes it the amount you've seen (eg. if you watched a 24 episode show 1.5 times you can list it as 18 episodes watched with one rewatch, giving you 36 episodes watched).
