Why is this anime tagged as shounen?

When it's not based on a manga and it's clearly not for teens. It got one of the most obscene rape scenes in anime history among many other mature themes. Couldn't find the option to modify the tag from the information page so that's why im posting this here.

Cause shounens can have a lot of depth to th as well, as far as violence goes even devilman was a shounen.

Look at shounen like fma,hxh,kenshin, my hero academia etc.

That doesn't answer my question. I'm not questioning depth, i am questioning the reason why its tagged as shounen when it clearly isn't one.

None of those examples have borederline hentai level rape scenes

Movies don't necessarily have manga demographics if made original. Imagine declaring the attributes of a seinen material a shonen.
