| Digimon is my favorite anime of my childhood and is something that deeply affected me, so i don't really know how to feel about this reboot of the story(it's not a total reboot). Seeing them in "better" animation and that world in different animation is kind of hard to swallow imo, it's not only the message that this show has thought but also a great feeling of nostalgia that runs through our veins. I don't get the reason why they are doing this other than solely for money but it can rub off the wrong way man... |

| Digimon is also my favorite anime of my childhood but I'm cool with this reboot, because of it I decided to rewatch it and I'm currently rewatching it, I haven't done so for probably 10-15 years, I never thought I'll ever rewatch it again till I read about the reboot, so that's a good thing that came out of it for me, anyway, wait and see, it's too early to judge it, I personally might end up enjoying it if does well, who knows. |

That said, I'm not sold on a reboot either. Although I do have to question people saying "just add more stories" when they've been doing that for years with the other Digimon series. They just kind of suck at it; and it's not like they have a good record continuing with the same world as Adventure. Just look at Adventure 2. That's what I'm hoping for from this reboot, I'm hoping they won't ruin it with such sequels again, if they want to reboot 02 as well then they better reboot it as it's own damn thing. |
