I know that a lot of shows and mangas focus their story around some revelation, like some character death, so whole plot is centered around "shock" factor of said revelation. So if people somehow spoil themselves a plot twist or ending, story usually becomes bland as you already know all the stuff leading to this plot twist.
In case of Punpun I accidentally spoiled myself, I think,

Is whole story centered about this fact or is it still that good (as I heard), so even if I know this, it's still worth reading and still will not be more bland because of that?

There's far more to Oyasumi Punpun than what you've been spoiled on. Might lessen the impact of some stuff, but it's ultimately a drop in the water.

actually for me thats the spoiler u talking about was the main reason why i read oyasumi pupun tbh.

theres alot things happen in the manga beside that general spoiler tho. and u can still enjoy the artwork/mangaart tho.

Absolutely. I got spoiled myself but it is definitely still worth reading. There’s a lot more to it than just that.

Like what the others said, definitely. I got spoiled by a friend on some major events in the story but it only really sunk in when I read it myself plus the fact that there are a lot of other things in the story.

Yep. Read a mediocre novel or bad light novel instead. ;))

MAL is a far cry from being my main literature site, that's why I won't be doing mere single chapter updates anymore. Manga- aka Baka-Updates + 2 French ones are miles better and more thorough/complete + less restricting. The latter are perfectly suited for Manga/Light Novel/Books collectors such as myself. Less stressful/tiring this way. -g-

I'll have you know that the ":)" emoticon and its many variations translates as "please punch me" on my vocabulary, lucky you I'm a anti-violence Christian.

This is Acid Trip: the manga. Nonsensical plot with "deep" characters, unecessary sex scenes. Each and every female character can be described as a C-word, the MC is a totally unlikeable scumbag, his family is messed up for the sake of it. Thankfully muh nizzle Seki is there to save this abomination of a "manga". 2/10 just because the art is good.

That's the point tho.. The world of punpun is supposed to be screwed up. The plot was about a depressed boy growing up without a purpose besides his obsession with his equally as depressed childhood love. The deep characters face issues regarding their purpose, the nature of humanity and how humans are never ever fully content. The sex scenes are that the desire for sex is the basic need for humans and that even at their lowest points the characters need to fullfill their sexual desires.
