Vol.13 Chapter 63: No One Will Die

Didn't see a previous thread, probably but not much interest but still I was curious to see what happens after the ending of the series the anime adapted and binged the chapters until the lastest scans, this chapter hit me in the feels unexpectedly.

Even though it looked like previous named Brutes (Tiger, Ratal, etc) came back from fatal wounds this chapter sadly makes it seem like that is not that case for Tasuku Kuroi (Tasmanian Devil girl). She was cleaved in half so it was a long stretch to believe otherwise. A shame since she is one of the few that could actually put the fear of dying in Hitomi's eyes during her last fighting moment.

Inui Pure had a good dynamic going with her as well. Pure is pretty boring to carry the series herself but this chapter implies that she is mentality a little unstable so that could make her more interesting to watch.

If they animated a 2nd season this would have been as big of a shock moment as seeing Nomoto "die" beforehand. Which speaking of Nomoto he's been pretty disappointing both in his brute reveal and the fact that he is actually forgiving and caring of Hitomi murdering him earlier in the series.

Why kill Takusu, she was an interesting character. I thought her and Pure are going to the championship what a disappointment.

wow, a main character with schizophrenia, did not see that coming. It's sad that Takusu had to go, but she was just that strong they couldn't have her in he finals
