... in finding something cool to watch. I'm starting Akira after I finish posting this but after I have no clue what anime to watch.

I'd like you kind fellows to suggest me something that's not on my "Plan to Watch" list. I am open to watch anything that is not shounen, romantic, comedy, slice of life, horror or anything along these lines. My top anime would also be a good guideline.
