| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Chapter 6 : The expert This one wasn't published in a magazine and was only published in the collection, I'm guessing he wrote it between 2006 and november 2007 as it follows a chronological order. Probably my favorite chapter as it is entirely silent so it leaves a lot of space for yaro abe to get a bit more wild and let him express more creativity with his composition and cutesy drawing. This chapter follows a monk in his daily life, we first see a mosquito entering his ear that he is unable to remove with a simple coton bud, we then see him living his day, giving food to stray cats, practicing bamboo sword, helping a woman that was about to be raped along the road, buying a watermelon at the store and finally getting to the yamamoto cleaning shop and get this mosquito out of his ear, as if it was a reward after a day spent helping people. |
