Why is Babylonia released before Camelot? This kinda makes no sense to me, since it's not chronological at all, and FGO is definitely meant to be chronological. Camelot also contains some stuff that's important to Babylonia.
The fact that they're not animating the other chapters before it is also a bit strange to me. Even if they weren't nearly as good, they contained some really important information for the entire story. I would still love to see those animated, even if it's all within a 12-episode anime.

I could understand it if this was aimed at just the FGO playerbase, but adapting anime is rarely for that purpose. This would be pretty confusing to newcomers. Not chronological and missing information.

Hyped as fuck though

Edit: I just really want to see Jalter, Nightingale, Cu Alter, David and Caesar in proper animated form lol (namely Jalter). More animated Jeanne and Nero doesn't hurt either

Well if I remember correctly
So it won't really hurt the narrative if Babylon is seen first.

I mean, partially.

It's fine for the playerbase, but not so much for newcomers.
And like, why? What's the point in going out of your way to release it unchronologically?

Well I think that's the thing, these anime are for the FGO playerbase. The reason these two singularities are even getting anime adaptions was because the two received the most votes in a player based survey. People who haven't played the game are gonna be at a loss regardless since singularities 1-5 are essentially being skipped.

Ah okay, that would explain that.
But wait, singularity 5 is getting adapted as well? That's America right? I had no idea

because even if they say so, these adaptations are obviously not meant for anime-onlies but FGO players

anime-onlies are just a bonus
