| I haven't read the last arc yet, but I finished the 'Dance of the Death' arc, and even if I enjoyed it (it was very good, but I found the ending to be too abrupt), I don't understand what is Rock doing. Don't get me wrong, it's great for his character to evolve and develop given the circunstances and where he's currently living, but, is he really thinking he can rule over RoaNapra or something? Also, he's presented as the 'nice guy', the purity of the series, and even if one of the main threads of this awesome manga is showing a dark and nihilistic human characterization when every single person is trying their best to be a mf and survive in such a mess, I thought Rock would evolve some other 'senses'. Like, for example, Revy is clearly trying to protect Rock, she declared to be his weapon, and Rock has not any single gesture of affection to her, like if she was only a tool. Do you think Rock will find his 'true road' again, as he was at the beginning of the series, or will he sink more and more into the darkness of RoaNapra? Sorry for my bad english, I have the flu and I don't want to correct the grammar mistakes. |
