| Found this manga at a local library. Can't find on MAL. English title: Kamen Author: Mihara Gunya published (in America at least) by: a company called Gen Manga. Started publishing: in or around 2014. can't find that much info on it, here is the cover art of the first Volume: The back page has the following text on it (might explain why it's so hard to find): tried going to the publisher's website to get more information, but all I got was error codes. Synopsis (from what I read so far, some spoilers): The main Character (The Masked Man) wakes up with a sentient mask on is face, he cannot remove the mask or he (and the mask) will die. Some of the people think that he is the incarnation of Shisa, sent "to rescue the world from the hell it has become". In a world of fantasy and might, a lone warrior emerges. Kamen, a mysterious masked man appears among prisoners of war in ancient Japan and becomes a legendary warrior and defender of the innocent while his enemies rush to discover his secrets. Read 2 volumes; unsure how many there are. |
