| DOes this anime focus on sport or it more like slice of life anime (like major 2nd which I dropped). I love sport anime that focus on competitions/tournament, nice visual effects, and has intense match in almost every episode. I'm currently watching only two sport anime captain tsubasa 2018 and Hinomaruzumou (sumo sport anime). I enjoying captain tsubasa a lot and Hinomaruzumou is also decent I want to know what kind of sport anime is Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru because I really hate anime that are too realistic and focus too much on comedy, slice of life and have no intense match. (I hate sport anime like Baby Steps, Major 2nd for example). Because when I look at pictures, it sound like those types of sport anime that I hate (and the fact that all character are males make it every worse) I prefer something that keep me at edge of my seat when there is a match, like captain tsubasa 2018 and kuroko no basket |

| if you're concerned about this being very SoL, well that'll depend on how much drama you want in your sports show. This is not going to be like Haikyuu where the matches are the fixation of the show, since the focus of this show is not to be the best track runners they can be, instead these guys are working towards an annual race and the track meets there in are simply methods to achieve desired time trials. The show does not really try to create rivalries in the vein of more traditional sports shows as well, up to this point most conflicts are internal as opposed to external. Run with the Wind is more about reaching personal goals with respect to running. It doesn't get too over the top, however if you are a former runner you'll have some moments that kind of break your immersion, like when they first reveal 5km times for the supposed new competitive racers, while those times are miles off the pace of what the show sets as their target, you'll be seriously questioning how a bunch of guys who've never run competitively can achieve those kinds of race times. However with some suspension of disbelief, there is enjoyment to be had, just not if you go into this show expecting Kuroko no Basket with runners. So to answer your question, based on what you said about more realistic shows you should get as far as you can from this show as possible. |
| I've seen you before on other threads and I can say that you'll most likely not like it. It isn't action-packed and is more focused on developing its characters in the long run. It's different from Hinomaru which is full of action so yeah. Best to avoid it in your case. |
