Is it okay to watch this anime, without trying to look at the old version of it first?

Since this looks like a remake of the old version, and tbh i don't watch the old one, is it okay to watch this anime, without trying to look at the old version of it first?

Anyone knows if there may/Is any difference? If so i guess i may watch the old one as well...

this is going to start from the beginning of the story so you can just watch it independent of the old adaptation. if you really want, you could read some of the manga but that's not required

No you don't but maybe read the manga, that's the original work. And its pretty entertaining too

I want to read the manga but I don't want to spoil myself when I watch the anime...

I read the manga and it seems true to the remake - judging by the trailer. It’s likely that they will add extra scenes/moments since the manga is dated.
