| I suspect, there is not enough source material. It's awful, that it ended in the middle of the arc, but the next one barely started and it is last one to date. |

| Aww I was kinda expecting this season to end the anime (I had no knowledge about manga etc.), but seems like it will take some time even until next season. Too bad it kinda was left middle of plot. |

| Just take it slow, since the manga is rushing towards the end now (at least for what i've read) and the quality for anime is kinda dropped i hope next season it won't be another slide show... but another bad thing is the sale of manga is also dropped. |

Yeah, thought there would be news on a mid 2019 release maybe. To be honest, the next season may be the last for the anime. I personally would be fine with that. I don't think the manga is doing to hot right now, that's the reason. |
| Considering the manga is ending in a few chapters, I hope we get one or two more seasons. At least one for the final battle with the Elite Ten and hopefully another for the BLUE tournament (which is kind of more like an epilogue than a part of the main story the manga spent most of it times building up towards). It'd really be nice if we could see the rest of the story finished up. It's a bit scary there hasn't been another season announced yet, I would think the series did well enough to warrant another one especially since the last season ended right before the final part of the main story. |
