Any thoughts on the filler?

But in practice, I feel like it makes the anime worse than the manga. The filler characters are extremely bland, the strategies that the 1-A students use are so childish that not even a child itself would fall for them (let alone someone with superhuman intellect), and nobody learns anything from the experience!

It's really easy to tell filler from canon just because of the quality of the execution. BONES is just not on the level of Horikoshi-sensei. And if Horikoshi actually DID write these parts himself, then he made a good call not putting them in his own story, because those would've been the worst parts of the manga without question.

Holy crap... this post was longer than I anticipated... What are your thoughts on this series' anime original content?
