| Was interested in watching Kingdom, but from what I’ve seen in trailers and the opening there’s some gawd awful CGI. Was wondering if the show is primarily CGI or does the CGI only exist when there’s a large battle/action happening? If so should I read the manga or is the CGI bearable? |
| I know this topic is old but for anyone who happens to stumble upon it, what you're seeing in the trailers is not what the actual show looks like. That's just because the trailer quality was bad, not because the actual show is. Yes there is CGI, but quite honestly, I couldn't even tell the difference between the "CGI" animation and the normal animation. To the point where if I hadn't heard anyone say that the animation in the first season was different from the second season, I honestly wouldn't have noticed a difference. I was even looking for it in the first season and couldn't figure out what so many people were complaining about. |

| the CGI is terrible, but it gets marginally better as the series goes on. the animation gets much better in season 2. |
