| Newbie here, like seriously, I'm fairly new to anime in general. Most of the anime I've been exposed to has been "not serious" or rather viewed without intent (like going over to a friends and seeing an ep or two, etc.). Over recent time I've gathered an interest to watch and catalog the anime I've viewed. I'm using MAL to organize primarily but I'll also try to be communicative in forum.. though because of my introverted personality that may not be frequent. [Quick backstory] I remember the first anime I saw was Spirited Away (2001) and I saw it relatively months following it's release, so I was either 6 or 7. I remember being very enveloped within the whole universe, the art style, characters, story, the culmination was really my start into Japanese OVA. Long story short over that time I lost interest in Anime collectively. Since last Summer (2016) when some of my close friends started getting into it again I found my intrigue rejuvenated. That didn't end up being short nor quick, but yeah. Happy to be here nonetheless! |
