Another (light novel)
| So from watching anime, I gleaned that the jap school system was like this, till 8th grade, middle school. 9th grade is high school 1st year, 10; 2nd year and 11 is 3rd year. So now since these kids are in the 9th grade, arent they 1st years in high school? why are they called middle schoolers and last year junior high schoolers? |
| Have you ever heard of wikipedia Secondary education in Japan is split into junior high schools (中学校 chūgakkō), which cover the seventh through ninth grade, and senior high schools (高等学校 kōtōgakkō, abbreviated to 高校 kōkō), which mostly cover grades ten through twelve. |
