| Okay so when I first got into anime I basically only watched sad anime cause I was a fucking normie and had crippling depression (still do), I've taken a break for a long time and I'm going to give it another shot at no lifing some sad series :) Help this weeb plox? Ones I have watched already/already plan to/etc: Clannad Clannad: After Story Plastic Memories Wolf Children (Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki) FullMetal Alchemist (been planning for awhile already) Isshuukan Friends Steins;Gate Byousoku 5 Centimeter Anohana (again planning to) Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso Angel Beats! Your Name I have watched other "sad" anime but nothing really concrete (and I have trouble discerning whether an anime is a sad anime). So come on guys, please hit me up with some lit crippling depression animu ;) P.S. If anyone recommends "Cory In The House", people are going to die >:( I have already watched that anime and I only cried for a week. |

Tbh I googled what anime is qualified as sad and that came up, I was having trouble determining what is qualified as "sad", so I looked up sad anime as just wrote which ones I had watched. | Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuioku-hen Haibane Renmei -- Mainly the middle part; but the whole show is melancholy throughout. Versailles no Bara -- It's the eve of the French Revolution and most of the chars. are on the royalty side so I think you can connect the dots -- thus more of a tragedy rather than a sad anime (if that makes any sense). |
