Since it has been awhile and there doesn't seem to have season 3 any time soon, so I'd like some spoiler before looking into manga or novel.

Nope, they're still OP but they WILL start loosing men and equipment later on. Coming from the LN, ogres and Vietnam ambush tactics can apparently still mess their day up, even a MBT. A little.
