Not confirming it 100% but clearly implying it is nothing new to the Japanese people. Most romance animes are like that. They leave you in a cliffhanger and wants you to speculate. Then you'll feel self satisfaction after thinking "yeah, that's what definitely happened" even if there's no official confirmation behind your speculation. |

| Isn't it more the thought of "there's light at the end of the tunnel" ? The show is implying that the 2 maincharacters both have very low downs which they don't share with anyone. Now that they understand each other's problems they can walk towards the light, together.. Or something like that.. Just my thought of the ending, tho, might be completely off lol |
