| @Shino PWTC has lots of space but even with the 2 halls on the other side of the bridge also still packed but at least manageable. KLCC, apparently the biggest problem for 2014 was that they didn't direct the traffic very well that's why the upper halls were not heavily utilized. If they can come up with a better plan to direct traffic then you combine all the halls upstairs and downstairs like how PC Fair does things then you'd have tons of space. @shootdatpancake What was the event again ah? Penang Anime Matsuri was it? I think it's later this month. I haven't been to Penang in a long time and I feel like going again but this month over-budget edi so next time lah see how because planning to continue my studies in the U.S sometime next year if my book sells a lot this year, still need to finish it first tho lol. |

I hardly see those in Malaysia (probably because they are hard to sell that well compare to stuffs like keychain, badges, stickers) but it's something pretty common in TW and CN... I know some people who say they want to make a manga but they never did. So you never know :P I know one thing and that is, I will be the pioneer. Cuz as they always say, one day, someday #MalaysiaBoleh BTW, what ships? I can only think of idol ships based off your MAL profile :P You see, TW & CN got because #dedikeyshun If even the guys across the bridge also haven't even released one ah, you know somehow somewhere no one even thought of writing one in the first place. | @NishizawaMihashi First of all, what language are you planning to write the novel in? If you planned to write in English, then partly of the Chinese community most likely wouldn't even bat an eye on it; If you are writing it in Chinese, people from other races won't be able to read them as well. Which is why I think it's also one of the factor why it seems to be slightly difficult to sell them here compare to other countries where majority of their people only communicates in one language. Secondly, even if someone were to make one , there is still a question here - Who will actually want to buy them here in Malaysia? People would spend 5-6 bucks for a badge, or 10 bucks for a keychain, but 25 bucks or more for a local fan-fiction or fan comic? I am not really sure about that because I have seen local doujin manga with decent drawing which sold at only RM20 being left untouched at the booth for most of the time in one of the event previously (I bought it though) If you are planning to write one, please tell me whether it got published! Although I usually only read 'haram' fanficton /coughscoughs/ |

| Finally, after being busy, sleep deprived and fasting for so long, I am finally back to commenting in earnest. Lega I tell you, MEMANG lega~~~ @Shino Engurisshu op kos. I wouldn't worry too much bout establishing MEGA sales in the first place, if feedback is good and the popularity spikes to za warudo, then confirm translation can get wan. Step by step first. Most local doujin manga have limited copies. There's popular ones doing manga, most notably Peach. Some others but their reach is very small and niche. You sure you're not just looking at yaoi/yuri doujins all the time ah? If that's the case then of course few will buy wwwwww. Illustration quality is also very important. But most of the time, people don't even have a story to back their illustration skills up. At least I'm still employed in terms of that wwwwww Also, this doujin light novel is 100% a circle effort. I'm more of the editor/manager. My kaichou is the writer while we have 1 illustrator. Both are super busy with very limited resources so it's going to take a while before we can do major progress. And yes, op kos we will do promo once everything confirm semua. Can do wan, just need to take some time. At least in the meantime I can help organize all the ideas and drafts into one cohesive package and edit accordingly. And also, ours is pure 1,000,000,000,000,000,000% ORIGINAL IP. No fan-fic. We want to mezasu towards pro-level. And well, see, you read haram ones mostly tu dia, kantoi, GG wwwwww Dun worry, this one memang tulen, original punya IP. @JafriZin We waited waaaaaaayyyyyy too long for this day. | Here's a very good rule of thumb... Comic Fiesta is always held on the WEEKEND BEFORE CHRISTMAS. As for where it's being held, Comic Fiesta is returning to KLCC once again after trying out new places for 2 years. Remember, WEEKEND BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Very important |
